Sonya Pereira

Sonya Pereira, Account Manager, brings more than 20 years of hospitality and travel industry experience. Pereira plays a pivotal role in overseeing the efficient and effective operation of individual incentive travel programs, as well as trip planning with award recipients. Sonya works directly with all vendors and DMCs to ensure that all required services are budgeted, contracted and delivered. She is also charged with overseeing all aspects of program logistics, ensuring seamlessly and successfully operating programs.


Prior to coming to INOVA Meetings & Incentives in 2006, Pereira began her professional career as a flight attendant for Sri Lankan Airways (Europe, Asia, Middle East and Australia). Later she was recruited as a Reservations Manager specializing in Leisure and Corporate Travel for Travel Associates in Los Angeles. She was promoted to Corporate/Leisure Travel Manager and relocated to New York to open a branch office, where she was responsible for oversight of Operations, Sales, Account Management, Marketing and Industry Relations.
